Haley Rushing

Aristotle once said, “Where your talents and the needs of the world cross, there lies your calling.” Or, as Haley Rushing would say, there lies your purpose.
Haley is founder of The Purpose Institute, an independent firm affiliated with ad agency GSD&M Idea City. The Purpose Institute helps companies discover and articulate their purpose and values in the world. Haley leads a team of people who act as organizational therapists, anthropologists and historians. Haley is also co-author (with Roy Spence) of the forthcoming book, "It's Not What You Sell, It's What You Stand For: Why Every Extraordinary Business is Driven by Purpose."
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Haley holds a B.A. in cultural anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and studied alternative dispute resolution at The Wharton School of Business. She currently resides in Austin.
