SWOMfest '08 was at the Long Center for the Performing Arts, a beautiful, new facility right next to Town Lake in Austin, Texas.
Austin has been ranked as the most-creative city in the United States; tt's probably of little coincidence that there's more word of mouth stuff happening here than you can shake a blog at.

The Long Center is located at 701 Riverside Drive, just south of downtown Austin.
Parking
Public parking is available in the Palmer Events Center Parking Garage located between Riverside Drive, South First Street and Barton Springs Road just south of Town Lake.
