Sean McDonald

Sean is in charge of Dell’s online community activities on Dell.com, where its online communities host about 150 million visits spread across Dell Community Forum, Direct2Dell , and Idea Storm. Dell is mentioned over 5,000 times per day on websites other than its own.

Sean joined Dell in 1997 and has worked in marketing, customer service, online and global communications.

Prior to Dell, Sean was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting Group and a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. During his Navy career, Sean was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and Navy Achievement Medal for operational excellence and leadership.

He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA and MBA. Sean is married to Liz Rescia and has two children, Keaton and Fallon.
